There seem to be many of us in this forum who travel back and forth between Coach. I still love Coach, but there aren't any bags out right now that I'm interested in purchasing.

My wallet wishes I felt the same way about MK :graucho: . . . .

I just picked up the Mocha Hamilton (sorry--no pics. right now--I'll try for later). I lurve it! The leather is so rich and soft, and, I still think that the bag is light/comfortable to carry, despite all of the gorgeous hardware! I die for the details of this bag--the chain strap, the woven leather at the top, and the lock! It reminds me sooo much of a Birkin (which I'll never have!), and the price is incredible (relatively speaking). I got it at the Michael MK Boutique for $298. I ripped off the tags and stuffed all of my things into it as soon as we got to the car!

I wanted to add that the MK store was crawling with people--lots of women who appeared to be in their 20s, 30s, and beyond. Love that this brand appeals to so many ages. I went to Coach afterward, and it was nearly empty. Wonder if MK is going to start being strong competition for Coach--the quality seems to be there, and the relative affordability rocks!

Now, I want ANOTHER Hamilton (the patent has my name all over it!). \

Thanks, ladies, for enabling me with this forum and all of your fabulous pictures! ;)

Awesome Cate14 - please do post pics when you have a chance!! The Mocha Hamilton is TDF!!! You are so right that despite all the hardware it is still a lightweight bag to carry - it defies physics. :thinkin:

It's so funny how people migrate from Coach to MK and the Hamilton - it seems to be a trend! I agree with everything you said - Coach hasn't had anything out in many months that I've been interested in. I still like Coach and am hoping for some good stuff in the future. I am so sick to death of Sophia and large Madison shoulder bag reveals.

Not as many of us over here, I think the most I've ever seen is around 15 vs. the 300+ Coach can get, but that just means MK is a bit more exclusive, right? :p

I took a bunch of pics., but this captures the color best. It still doesn't look as rich and chocolately as it does IRL. Mocha has a beautiful, deep sheen to it. It's stunning!

Chrissy, thanks for your kind words!

I agree completely about Coach--we've seen a lot of Sophias and shoulder bags lately! I can't wait until the spring bags start to arrive--looking forward to those reveals!

Based on the crowd at the store yesterday, I don't think that MK will be under the radar for long! So much to choose from!

I started with Coach as well. I still have 3 Coach bags that I love, but they haven't had anything I have wanted in a while. I have one MK right now, but I am sure I will end up with more. :-)

Love you mocha Hamilton. The Hamilton is the first bag I started drooling over of MKs as well.

Wow, that color is gorgeous! Congrats!

And you're definitely not alone. I still love their accessories, but the bags are just not doing it for me anymore. Maybe for their anniversary they'll come up with some more Legacy style bags.

Until then I'll cheat with MK. :graucho:

Gorgeous gorgeous!! Congrats and welcome!

mfitz please post pics of the quilted Hamilton!! Congrats to you too!! I cannot decide between the quilted and aubergine Hamilton...decisions decisions!!

Yes crissy we are definitely a more exclusive club! :p

Welcome, Cate & Mfitz!! It is a nice small group here now, but hopefully, it will grow :).
Cate, your Hamilton is SO yummy and chocolately :) -- I haven't seen it IRL yet, but can't wait to!
Mfitz, can't wait to see pics of your quilted Hamilton!! It must be so squishy and soft :)!
I really like the Hamiltons too, as Chrissy mentioned, but being in Canada, I need to save a bit more before I can get my MK -- too expensive here :(.

Congrats to both of you :)!!

LUCKY GIRL!!!! Congrats!!! The medium size is on my Xmas wishlist....I just LOVE the yummy chocolatey color....and the details!!!! LOVE this bag!!! Congrats!
