helppp!!! formal evening shoes when pregnant

Ladies, I really need help in this department. I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant, and there is a wedding to attend. It will be a very formal event and I won't be able to wear any of my heels!! My husband already locked up my high heels shoe rack and left me with flip flops and flats! All my flats are very casual and not suitable for a formal event like that. What should I wear? any suggestions?

I would look for a pair of embellished flats (like Miu Miu was doing for a while, they might be still), or kitten heels, or low wedges like the CLs that are just 2 in. tall.
If you don't want to spend too much, how about a pair of kitten heel sandals like these?

Try to find some wegdes, or a cute pair of kitten heels!! or, you could even do a flat, but like, embellished ones. There's lots of choices out there! and I wouldn't worry too much as people will probably be ooing and aahing over your baby bump and will hardly notice what's on your feet !

I would go with some embelished flats from Giuseppe Zanotti or Miu Miu!

Why no heels when pregnant? I wore heels right up until my delivery and that included some with over 4 inch heels.

I actually suggest buying something cheap for the wedding. I went up two sizes after 30 weeks. I would have cried if I had brand new designer shoes I could only wear for 12 weeks.

I don't get the high heel prohibition either. I wore them during all 4 pregnancies right up to the end. And my daughter is 6 months pregnant right now, still wearing her Tributes.

Nobody would have dared to lock up my shoe collection! I wore heels as long as I could during all of my pregnancies, although my feet did swell enough at the end that it made wearing my normal size impossible. So if you have shoes with heels that fit and you feel good in, wear those. Otherwise if you are afraid they won't fit, wait until as close to the event as possible and buy a pair of lower heels to wear.
