Helpful hint for cleaning inside fabric linings of handbags.

I like to give my bags a spa treatment and try to take care of them. I usually try to turn the fabric lining outside the bags and use a small stiff boars head brush to get it clean. But I tried something new a few weeks ago and it worked great. I use clear packing tape. I just take a nice size pice and pat it on and off the lining and I am amazed at how good it cleans. I use a few pieces as needed. Works especially well on darker linings where you can see the results so quickly.

I occasionally use vacuum cleaner, with upholstery attachment.

Only vicster has fabric lining.
My French bags resent hearing Shakespeare quotes. Such snobs.
Older mulberry suede linings love being vacuumed & reminded of The Globe Theatre.
