Michael Kors Help with Selma on website

Hi everyone, am looking to make my first Michael Kors purchase and have fallen in live with the Selma in navy. Have ordered from the Nordstrom site before however the Selma on there is described as the large version however the dimensions given are smaller than those for the Selma on the Selfidges site (which is also described as large). Can anyone offer me some guidance? Are these bags different models in the same range?

Ordinarily I would say different retailers measure the bag differently, but the Selma has never had a wing spam of 16.5".

I know they sell a larger version of the east west Hamilton in Europe, so I'm guessing g they do the same in the Selma.

Okay. You've got me doing math here. Looks like they are the same size. Selfridge's bag comes to 16.5" W x 10.2" H x 5.9" D with 3.9" handles and 41.3" total shoulder strap length. The Selma including the wings does come close to 16.5" W. The shoulder strap drop would be 1/2 the strap length or 20.7", similar to what is listed at Nordstrom. The only discrepancy is the differing handle drops, 6" at Nordstrom and 3.9" at Selfridge's.

Thank you so much, so it looks like the Selfridges site is including the wings as part of the width measurement whereas the Nordstrom site isn't? Maths was never my strong suit! thank you so much, I wouldn't normally care so much however hoping to fit my laptop in which is exactly 33cm in width.

Yes, I think Selfridges' measurements include the wings. I also think Selfridges may be measuring the handle drop from the top of the bag to the inside edge of the handle while Nordstrom is probably measuring from where the handles are screwed into the bag to the inside edge of the handle.
