I have a mono PM and absolutely love it! I have been wanting to add a second PM to my collection since it is easy to carry and fits my lifestyle. I panic bought 3 in the last week in advance of the PI: (1) black/beige bicolor empreinte, (2) noir empreinte and (3) reverse. Of course, I love them all and having a hard time deciding. I

have all canvas pieces in LV and have been wanting to add a leather piece. I don't own any and am not generally drawn to black bags - I prefer neutral or bright colors. But, surely everyone needs a black crossbody! The noir is understated, but also kind of boring. The bicolor is beautiful, but will it be dated in a few years? The reverse is so similar to the mono but I love the color (would work year round) and lack of vachetta makes it so carefree. I would greatly appreciate any advice and opinions!

P.S. I also ordered the Felicie Pochette in turtledove (because it is a perfect beige!) so that is in the big picture mix. :)

Nice! Glad you were able to get your options in before 5r price increase. I also just purchased a pochette Métis but it’s my first. I feel the same with the black, everyone needs a black bag but when I look at it, it does look “simple”. I would have liked to try it on though, I ended up getting it in the blue.

turtledove is so much lighter in the sun! Love how it changes in different lighting. Good luck with your choice. I would try it on with yourwardrobe and see whatworks best or what bag color is missing.

I have the PM Noir and I love it. Maybe try the 3 with a handful of your favorite outfits to see which one goes with your style & aesthetic the best. Good luck deciding.

I have the reverse and love it, but if I already had the mono I would go for the black. I don’t like the bicolor as much and feel the black has more longevity. No wrong choice here!

Thanks so much for the replies. They have been really helpful! I think you are right and I cannot go wrong with the black/noir. I can always make it stand out with a bag charm or scarf. It is also nice to have the option of being understated - particularly at work. Appreciate all the feedback!

I'm not usually drawn to black bags but I did purchase the noir PM because I wanted the strap to be comfortable and I figured black would match my wardrobe more than the marine rouge. I love it! I do like that it's more understated and subtle but those who know, know. It can be dressed up or down. I love the reverse (which I also have) and honestly between the 2 that would be a difficult choice. I would say noir since you already have it in canvas. While I like the bicolor, I do also wonder if it will look dated in a couple of years. Good luck, the PM is the best bag ever!

That describes me too - I am not drawn to black bags at all, which is strange since I do wear a ton of black! I think I like my bags to "pop" a little. But, there are times when I don't want my bag to scream luxury so the noir seems like a good fit for my needs.

Thanks to everyone! It is so nice to be able to discuss my bag obsessions with others who get it!

I’m voting for reverse, because I prefer canvas pieces from LV - they are timeless, hard-wearing and have the best resale value if you decide to part with them one day.
I tried the empreinte PM in store and found it heavier than the canvas one, but don’t know whether weight matters for you. I have Pm mono, and would love to have reverse as well.
Good luck deciding and please let us know which one you went for (and post a pic of your new PM)! :ghi5:

I’d go for reverse myself. However since you already have mono then I’d probably choose noir empreinte. Or I’d sell the mono and keep the new reverse and noir empreinte. This may or may not help you lol
