Help with Rolex Air King

I've recently decided to purchase an Rolex Air King, a couple of days ago i came across a preowned Air King from the 90's for 2650$, but i'm in doubt, should I buy a preowned watch (pictures below) or should I wait a couple of years and buy a new one? It's the exact model i've been looking for and i know if i choose not to buy it now, i'll probably first get the chance to buy one when i'm finished studying and have a proper job ( 15 yrs time), I have the money now so i'm just really split in the matter. Please ladies! i could really use your advice

That price seems high. Did you research prices for such a watch?

If the price is right, why not? But please make sure it's legit (lots of fake Rolex everywhere) and was well maintained.
