Help with pricing on vintage cushion

It is, definitely. I think the majority of that price is based on the size, then the demand for cushions, and further because diamonds are soaring. I actually think that is VERY conservative for a 3ct cushion regardless of color.

GOG rules, btw. I love them.

It is so hard to decide. There is another vintage ring I also am considering with a similar size and color cushion. They are like searching a needle in a haystack! The other one is pricier but I was able to see it and try it in person and just fell in love with it. It is also already in a vintage setting which I love....
Do I pay a higher price for one that i've seen and is already in the setting? or do I shop around and have things shipped back and forth to find a better price...but then have to go through the additional time and expense to find a setting....
So confused......

Compared to what i have seen lately with my diamond hunting, that is a great price. As for the shopping around vs. buying what you've seen question, to me it would depend on the savings you would receive shopping around. If it is only a few thousand, i would buy the one i have seen and love in person. If it is more than a 4k savings, i would shop around, because that would most likely still give you a savings after setting the stone.

Well if you fell in love with it, it's worth it since it's set. You can buy this stone and see if you like it more compared to the other, and if you like the otherb etter return this one?
