Help with peeling Chanel caviar leather

This looks like mine and mine is about a year old. It bothered me at first but not anymore. I found that putting Cadillac leather lotion on these areas help a lot and make mine look as good as new.

Hi guys! I have recently purchased a 21C small classic flap caviar leather in rose clair, everything seems perfect however I found a scratch on the front of the bag which is quite visible if you look from any angle apart from the front view.

I live in London which is currently in lockdown so I don’t get to see/examine the bag in person before making the purchase. May I know is this a common issue for light colour Chanel bags (I have never bought any Chanel bags other than black colour) or should I contact my sa on this? My hesitation is they wouldn’t have another piece for exchange ... thank you so much in advance for you advice!

Hello! At last I brought it back to the store and my sa was able to rub the defect off - it turns out it’s a piece of coloured glue! I’m so glad it got resolved as the stock was so limited at that time of lockdown.

I pulled my medium chevron classic flap out today from my wardrobe and noticed this cracking in the stitch at the front
It also has gone white around the cc lock.

this is my only chevron caviar bag so I have nothing to compare it to, it definitely feels really dry compared to all my diamond quilting bags. Is someone able to confirm what’s causing this and if I’m able to restore the bag? I have probably worn it 10 times due to its light peach colour

When did you buy it? I would go to a chanel boutique and show them what happened before you doing something by yourself. Otherwise they will have a reason to say that is you fault in case your action will not help or it will be worse.

Something similar happened to my Boy strap and chanel replaced it after two attempts. It seems to me that the finish has worn off. So sorry this happened to you
