Help with mini cross body choices...

I'm stuck and would like some input.... I was originally drawn to the micro Prada double zip galleria in black saffiano (black leather strap - it's a new version and smaller than the mini) and now I am second guessing myself. I also like the small Chloe Marcie and then there is the Gucci disco bag (which is a bit bigger) but I am unsure of the two big "g" logos on the front of the bag. I would just like a small lightweight bag for when I travel, that is elegant looking and fits my credit card, some cash, my phone and passport. I'm getting it in black - but just don't know what to get. I have stayed away from the chain straps (aside from the Gucci Disco bag) because they tend to be heavier. I also want to be sure it's a classic design that I can use for years to come. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any other suggestions or opinions on the the above.:smile1:

Chloe Marcie is nice. May I also suggest Celine Trio? There are two sizes and many different colors.

Givenchy Pandora and Proenza Schouler PS11 are good options too.

On the smaller side, there's the Delvaux Micro Brilliant and Tempete, Tyler Alexandra Mini Jamie and mini Laura Jane, Reed Krakoff Micro Anarchy, and Lady Dior Mini. The last one has recently changed to a chain strap though.

For black mini crossbodies that are slightly larger than what you're looking at, there's the Gucci Mini Bamboo Tote, Reed Krakoff RK40S, Louis Vuitton Capucines BB, and Saint Laurent Nano Sac Du Jour.

Thanks for all the suggestions/replies. Papertiger - you are right when you say dolls' bags but I still ended up going for the micro Prada Galleria. I preferred the functionality of it (yes, I know it's not all about practicality) but there are the two zippered pouches and then a centre compartment. It was the size and weight that I was looking for and it allows me to conceal my belongings especially when I'm traveling in touristy areas where pickpocketing is rampant. I really wanted something on the smaller side because I already have the Chanel 2.55 so I didn't want anything too close to the size I already have. I'm still considering the Chloe marcie, but in tan or beige - the black is a 'light black'. I love the PS11 and looked at it in Paris but it was still a bit too heavy and big for what I needed. The Celine Trio is another nice option, but couldn't find much of a selection in Toronto to take a closer look at it. And I couldn't get over the two big "G"s on the Gucci bags. They're nice but not for me. And Leechiyong - thanks for those suggestions - I had not heard of Delvaux before, they have some gorgeous bags. Thanks again everybody!

Hi, do you own a Saint Laurent nano SDJ? If so, would u recommend it? I am considering it but wanted an opinion before i make the plunge.

Longchamp's has some and they are light weight with a fantastic strap. Rebecca M- mini MAC? I think there is padding on the chain. Tory burch has some as well.

My 2 mini crossbody go tos are my Chanel WOCs . I have both metals depending on my jewelry. And I also love my Dior pochettes. They're both very light considering the chain strap and both look great crossbody . The Dior mini promenade pochettes are deceptive and have a lot of room!
