help with Isabella Fiore Audra (Katie bag)

Hi everyone, I have a question for those who have seen or have brown Isabella Fiore Whiplash Audra bag (Katie bag). I wanted one because I love its work and leather. I had black and sold to buy a brown one.

Well, I got one in great condition, almost new, but the color stated Cognac, from the pictures it looked similar to what I wanted, but in real life it is really dull brown comparing with what I expected - vibrant reddish, almost orange hue of brown, like I saw on another one I did not win in bidding (the photo on the right).

If you have it, is it more similar to the second, or these two might be the same in real life but the pics taken with different flash?

Is "katie bag" redder than my on photo on the left in real life or it is just one color in brown?

I saw copper color (darker), and even darker brown, but how many nuances of brown did they make ?

I wanted to sell this one and search for redder version, I like that "fire" in a purse with casual outfit.

It looks similar enough that it is probably the same color, just in different lighting conditions.

I have this bag, the color looks fine to me. I agree w/ jordanjordan that it is probably the lighting which is causing the color to look different.

OMG, I remember when that bag came out and I was so obsessed with it! I still wish I got one at the time. She was seen everywhere with that bag-that's when Katie started becoming a style icon IMO.

I like it a lot, leather and workmanship is outstanding indeed, I am just looking for redder color in a purse

I recently returned $460 Ugg large hobo to Victoria's Secret o the same reason, in the photo it was all vibrant, various shades of chesnut, and the color is called chesnut, but I got a dull, matte brown - retured it to the store

this one I am re-selling because ther is no reason, but my obsession with the right shade of brown, to return it to a great seller who did her best to describe and it really is almost new..hope to get what I payed so that the search can go on

In the meantime I a waiting for YSL cognac Muse , curious to see that brown color , if it is going to make me happy weird obsession indeed

Wow. How incredibly odd to do a search on the Audra's sister bag and have your own pic of your Audra come up in the results AND be posted in a forum. I had no idea! I'm so glad I covered the faces of both my granddaughter and Santa.
