The ring! It is really beautiful, and from my personal experience (DH wears a similar one) it is something that a man will wear all year long and on any occasion. Crosses are usually worn under the clothes, and you and him will be able to admire it and enjoy it in your home, or on vacation, so it will not get its money's worth.
Why not ask him what he would prefer? Or is it supposed to be a surprise?

Congrats on your Anniversary!

i don't know your husband personally of course, but you haven't really given any specifics to what he likes or dislikes.

what you have posted are two completely different pieces of jewelry.

the cross is just really too much for most men. my husband hates jewelry in general and tbh, i'm lucky he wears his wedding ring everyday. but, that doesn't mean your husband doesn't mind wearing something like that at all. everybody is different.

that being said, to be on the safe side, i'd get him the ring.

also, is he very religious? that cross to me definitely shows he would be a religious guy.

i'm going against the grain here, and say the cross. The ring looks like a wedding band, and I am assuming he already has a wedding band and doesn't need another.

The cross is something he can wear all the time, and, I don't understand why someone said it is worn under clothes, i wear a different cross every day and it is never under my clothes. Depending on the type of job he has, it might be under clothes, it might not be. My husband for example does not wear suits and ties to work, so, a piece of jewelry like this would show with him.

I'd go with the ring also. It's tasteful and not over the top.

My DH is not into jewelry whatsoever- he believes jewelry should be worn by women & therefore, he'd rather spend the money on me (amazing man).

Would this ring replace the wedding band he already wears? Or would he wear it on his other hand?

I've never seen a man wearing a cross over his clothes/ suit with the exception of priests. Unless a guy is in casual attire with open shirt (chest showing) all the time or wears it Vin Diesel style => http://i2.squidoocdn.com/resize/squ...2254622photo_1245875199mens-cross-pendant.jpg

really depends on the guy's job/ everyday life. I'm only speaking from experience the men I know wear suits and sports jackets all the time, therefore if they wear a cross no one can tell.

LOL, I just pictured my own boyfriend with shirt open, wearing a cross and it looks ridic!! I'd go with the ring!
