Help with eBay auction

The bids are quite low for now and the auction ends in 11 hrs.
this is my first time trying to buy on eBay. Do people usually elevate their bids at the last minute? Ie do I need to stalk it ? Can the seller take it off if he isn’t satisfied with the final price? Tia

Thank you, what confuses me is that the bids are at 100 and it costs about 1000. So I am wondering if ppl are going to jump in with much higher bids at the last minute

Sometimes sellers have a reserve price set - but you would see that listed under the current bid. Buyers who really want the item will wait until the final few minutes / seconds to place their top bid.

Yes, in auctions, often bidders snipe at the last minute.

The flip side of that is that the market is so saturated there may not be a lot of potential buyers. You never know until the auction’s over!

Around 700 which I decided I wasn’t willing to spend there were big time snipers at the end!! Out of nowhere
