Help with Chanel

I'm tall and prefer the rectangle minis. I also like how much they fit. HOWEVER, keep in mind that they recently made the mini rectangles a bit smaller than they used to be, so the new mini size is a little smaller than the prior. However, I believe tweed rectangle minis are still in the normal/prior size.

There's new minis, but there's still both; at least at the 3 boutiques I've shopped in recently.

Got it. I have heard on here from a few people that they are going to be phasing out the original mini size, but that may or may not be true. Not sure.

Rectangular mini is my favorite size because it fits enough and goes with everything. Small is great but can look slightly more dressy. If I had to pick just one Chanel to have forever, it would probably be small because it is so classic. Rectangular mini is a great add on.

The new collection small with chains on top looks like a decent size too! What are your thoughts on that?

This is personal preference but I’m not a fan of non classic Chanel bags. It’s a cute piece though

Scored rectangle mini at Rue Cambron! Champagne ghw. Luckily they got restocked that morning and only had 2. Went to Bon Marche day prior and SA checked all locations and said it was all out across Paris. Square minis were only available in neon pink tones and salmon pink colors.SA said Black square will likely not come back til next season!

Next on list is either small flap caviar or mini top handle or square in caviar!

I’m 5’2 and slim and the mini rectangle’s original strap length just looks ridiculous on me - it fell underneath my crotch lol. Would love a mini square but I only want it in caviar so it’s taking me a while to find a preloved one that I like.

maybe you just have a longer torso! I’m sure we can all be the same height but still have bodies that are built differently. I’m 5’2, size 0 petite and both the mini rectangle and WOC straps are wayyy too long on me. I’ve shortened my WOC straps too and get so much more wear out of them!

I have no torso lol, I'm all bust and legs! The Woc chain is considerably longer, but I like a longer drop so the bags aren't resting right under the "girls" lol

Ha that’s funny! I’m generous in the bust area too but even with the shortened strap, the bag rests on my hip and not under the girls. We are all built differently!

Isn't that true!? I like long crossbody straps, otherwise it looks like I'm wearing a boob holder
