Did any of ya'll purchase these pearl slides from last year? I finally wore them for the first time and they were SO stiff and rubbed the skin off the top of my foot and left a scab.

My SA said to put mole skin on the shoe or take them to a cobbler to make the shoe less stiff? Do you all have recs on how to stop the top edge of the shoe from rubbing my skin off? I'm so sad - they're so cute and i bought them in black and pink.

thank you!

I have 2 pairs of Chanel slides, but not these. My canvas/cotton espadrille slides weren't super pliable but has softened up a lot. I find them super comfy.
I put moleskin on a lot of my shoes.

I would stick some moleskin to the top to help with the rubbing.

thank you both! Do you just stick it underrneath the top of the strap? or do you let it extend as well to cover the edge of the strap?

I had to cover the whole band/strap on my Dior slides they were so uncomfy. If there's room, I'd say cut a strip just smaller than the whole strap. If they're remotely snug that won't work, and you'll just need a pad to cover the rubbing spots.
