help with bag purchase!

Hi TPF'ers,

I'm going out to buy a new every day bag tomorrow and wanted your input. I'm seriously considering the small black Fendi By The Way bag, as it seems to be the perfect size and a classic color.

If you have any other suggestions for a every day bag that's not too flashy but quality, please let me know. I'm willing to spend upwards of 2-3K.

I think this is a very good everyday bag! Understated but chic!
The YSL Jane has a similar shape/look, you might want to check it out - but the Fendi is beautiful nonetheless!

I own the medium BTW and love it. It’s a perfect everyday bag. Smart looking and functional. I really recommend it without hesitation.

Look no further, it is the perfect everyday bag My only suggestion is that maybe get a replacement strap if you have long hair, as the buttons on the original strap catch hair.

Awesome, thank you for all your input! I am looking up the YSL Jane now.

If anyone else has other suggestions, please share them. It's taken me this long to discover the By the Way bag so I am sure there are designs I haven't noticed yet.

I own the Fendi Mini By the Way bag and it is one of my most used bags. I like to wear it to work as it is not flashy. No one knows it is Fendi unless they are into handbags. I also love the multitude of carrying options the bag provides.
