Help with advice about black hardware

Hi everyone , I just bought this beauty, it is a stunning bag in all respects. However I am very worried about black hardware losing colour and becoming chipped with shiny metal underneath.

Anyone has any experience ? I still have plenty of time to return it. It is gorgeous, hardware is matte and amazing with the suede and leather in the same colour. I am just afraid that it would lose a lot of it's beauty if in all black bag hardware showed shiny light spots. It has a shoulder strap and that attaches to small rings and those might get rubbed the most.
I have some Bottega Veneta SLGs with matte dark hardware and theirs is very well made, no rubbed or light surfaces after years of harsh use.

Help with any suggestion !!!!

I had a Swagger with Black Matte hardware & it did lose color where the long strap attached.

I'm not sure if it's the same hardware as the drifter, but it's something to consider if you plan to use the long strap. If you only carry it as a satchel you'll probably be fine.

same , it is identical, thank you so much !!! It is not that bad, I would not like the front clasp to start looking all shipped and messy, perhaps permanent marker or black nail polish can help LOL...I would hate to return it, it is such a classy bag

I recently got the drifter in the smaller size about a week ago. She has already had some of the black paint rubbed off on the inside of where the clips meet the rings on the bag. It's not even noticeable because for that style it's against my back-back. The front turn-lock plaque and the lock itself are doing awesome! it looks good even wth the lock and the back of the plaque hitting each other constantly. I will say that there is no real place to put bag charms on this bag. I have been placing my charms on the chain with and even that looks good too!

thanks so much for this information, this helps a lot, the front turn lock worries me the most, I would not really carry this satchel style with shoulder strap but rather in hand
