So I'm getting a large hamilton in saffiano leather. I've really wanted the black with gold but I also like the navy gold a lot and was able to get that on the 25% off. Which do you prefer and why? Thanks so much for your input!! :tup:

I like the blue one more! Black is so simple, it's everywhere. Navy is as easy to combine with clothes as the black. But imo it looks more interesting and "expensive"!!! Did u see this bag in pearl grey color, btw?? It is lovely!!! The color is very pretty!

I agree. The navy is different from the standard black but you can still use it as a neutral.

Thank you for your input. :tup: yes I actually bought the pearl grey on a whim at the outlet and returned it... It wasn't love for me. It is pretty though!!

I was having the same dilemma just a week ago. Ended up with the black with gh because it's my first Hamilton love. :D

Both colors would be great. So I'd say go with navy because it's the better deal. You can always get the black one someday. :)

Thank you :tup: I truly do love the classiness and simplicity of the black/gold but have ended up liking the navy a lot also as I admire it on my dresser :graucho: Still haven't snipped the tags..

I love the navy, but for me, it would come down to what would match my wardrobe best. I wear a lot of black and the navy just wouldn't work out for me even though I'd pick the navy over the black Hamilton ANY day! The dark blue with that gold is just stunning. I say keep the navy as long as it works with your wardrobe. LIke someone else said, you can always get black. Some of the other colors, however, come and go and once they're gone, are very hard to find.

I say Navy over Black. I think Navy is the new black or is now becoming a very good neutral color. Wearing black against certain clothing can look too harsh but with the Navy, it can come together real nicely and/or stick out in a good way :)

I like the navy too! I got a navy Coach for Christmas and adore it. Classic but versatile and different! I just picked up my first Hamilton, vanilla with rose gold hardware, on the F&F sale at Macy's! I was going to get black & gold but saw it and fell in love!

Thank you-- I agree and I think navy matches everything. The gold against the black just seemed so timeless and classy but the navy is gorgeous!
