HELP, which one(s) to choose!!

So, literally until the last few days I have been Hermes girl all the way. No question about it. Sold my experiment bag from Chanel (classic flap, stunning on others not me) and also my Celine box (too boxy). But OMG, now I have found GUCCI!! I have never thought about getting anything from Gucci, somehow it always felt too "boring" or something.. (so sorry ladies ).
But when I saw the newest collection I went ga-ga crazy! My gosh, what a fabulous job has the new designer made! LOVE the prints, colors and designs. Could find myself wearing ALL Gucci from my head to toe if I could (afford).
After spending quite a few LONG moments looking at the beautiful pics on this forum (thank you so much for the great threads and pics! ) I ended up ordering two pair of shoes (pink marmonts and pink Princetown bloom slippers, and still graving for the black or white Princetown loafers with Gucci stripe and logo for the autumn) AND THREE BAGS!
Now, the reality is that I can't justify myself keeping all the bags and I will return at least one of them. So dear fellow PFers, please help me to choose from these lovely bags. I simply cannot make up my mind!

Omgeee- I am with you all the way, except that I'm usually a Chanel girl. I am obsessed with the Dionysus with the blooms and the green jacquard Marmont! Those are my two favorite bags from the collection, so I would say return the Sylvie.... but the Sylvie is so different it does round out your Gucci collection nicely.... sorry! I am no help at all

Yup, have to admit you were not a huge help (lol) but it was so nice to "meet" someone who has fallen head over heels so recently on Gucci too! To be honest I kind of agree on every word you said. I too love most the green marmont and bloom dionysus, but somehow I can't let go Sylvie either, because it would be so different from the others. Beautifully ladylike to be carried with my white summer dress and valentino rockstud pumps. On the other hand I am hesitant with the textile strap of Sylvie.. My friend has it and the strap doesn't look so nice after carried few times only. Of course there is the leather option but I somehow feel Sylvie is at it's prettiest with the textile striped strap with the bow.

Dionysus is probably the more durable and versatile for coordinating outfits. I think you'd get the most use out of it. But it you have a large purse selection, perhaps it can be replaced with an SLG in the same print?

Personally I'd keep Sylvie since it is made of full leather in such a dreaming blue. Gucci updated this style with the leather handle most likely for the same reason that you mentioned. You could replace this bag with an accessory like a belt or shoes with the same striped textile. Also there will be new designs in the future with the iconic stripes. They should introduce a bow bag charm made of the stripes.

And CONGRATS on finding Hermes!! It is an amazing brand, and has been an addiction to me for years. And I am kind of relieved about my Gucci crush because it is certainly more affordable. Ah, for you it is vice versa of course!

You gave very good points of view. I think I will keep Dionysus, like you said it is most durable and most classic from these three. At first I didn't fancy the design so much, it was too much like the old Gucci style. But the more you look at it the more you start to love it! And of course the floral design is so lovely on this classic print. LOVE all the blooms items!

You are also right about the Sylvie. The light blue color is amazing. I have never worn light blue before but this spring I have bought several light blue tops and cardigans, so it would be lovely to have one bag in light blue. There is something magical in this combo, the Gucci stripes and the perfect light blue color. Good to know there will be a bow bag charm with stripes! I have the bow brooch with stripes but it is HUGE in size so I haven't been brave enough to use it yet..

I guess you would skip Marmont jacquard from the trio, right? I kind of agree with you. It is textile (let's see what is the look and feel of it) so definitely for the summer time use only. The annoying this is that I just CAN'T get this picture out of my head (see below)!! I already bought same kind of kimono from Zara..

Haha- yes! I have definitely caught the Gucci fever!! Hmm, that makes sense about the textile strap. For me, I'd have to go with the green Marmont... although yes, the style will be around- it is this exact print which really makes this bag pop! Is the marmont the medium size? I WANT the slippers with and without fur and with rose design, and then the loafers with Gucci stripes and without. And they are so dreamy as booties too! Saw the picture here of Katie Holmes wearing them..
By the way, you made one important note. Which of these bags you think will be there in the future as well? Perhaps Sylvie will not stay in that light blue, what do you think? How about the green Jacquard or the Dionysus blooms?

I love the Dionysus Blooms, the flower pattern is so pretty. However I do think the Sylvie (in black) would be a safer choice (at least for me personally) as I tend to get fed up by flower pattern after a while.. But if you know you would like pattern after a while I think you should go for it

They are phasing out the blooms, but not sure of the timing of that... and I doubt they will repeat the green jacquard. Not sure about the Sylvie?

I too love the flower pattern, so much I doubt I would get tired of it. But it seems Gucci has had different kind of flower patterns in Dionysus so probably it will be in the collection. If not this one exactly then something else as pretty. Then again this is the only one from these three with classic Gucci pattern.. Gah, this is getting more and more difficult the more I try to rationalise different options!
Btw, Sylvie in black is divine I can imagine! I don't use black so it is not an option for me. White is gorgeos as well but I am too clumsy with white bags.

Yup, the green jacquard will probably not be here for long. And Sylvie in light blue neither, because the color is now so hip and trendy. The question is, which one of these two will stand the test of time better..
