Help! Which Dionysus Based On My Style??!!

God this bag has been in my head for about 8 months or more. It's my birthday later this month and I might be able to get one as a gift but I can't decide which one!

These are what I'm thinking below. I like the canvas and tan suede combo because it's neutral and just works but I also like the idea of the all black suede for a rock chick vibe.

My style is downtown, mix of feminine and masculine. I love wearing loafers and vintage (check Insta for a quick idea). I can literally wear either but gah!! I don't know!!!

I love both, and have been lusting after this style too! I love, love ,love the suede. I'm thinking of the black suede or the tan/ taupe color. But as far as rain and scuffs, the canvas is a great decision. Definitely watch some of the YouTube videos that are out there with the pros and cons of each. It seems the chain gets stuck and twisted on some .

Thank you!!! [emoji8] I have seen the YouTube videos. I don't think anyone on there has the all black although I've seen loads of pics of both. It's so tough. Maybe I'll have to just try on again and see. I've tried these bags on for MONTHS [emoji849][emoji51]

I do know that I don't have anything color wise like the tan one even though I dig the all black vibe a lot.

I agree it's a hard decision! I'm wanting that bag and the Chloe mini suede Hudson :smile:

I have been wanting a Dionysus bag for awhile now seeing all the pictures....
I just ordered the top one but in the black version. It was between that and the blooms. I was afraid with the blooms I was limiting the bag to summer and I wear a lot of neutral colors (black,white,gray) so I liked the pattern/noir combo...the bottom bag is gorgeous too...

You did the right thing for year round appeal I reckon even though the bloom ones are beautiful - I see that more as a second bag should you do that route - natural first!

I know right? I'm going to try both bags on tomorrow morning and see if I can make a final decision because I literally love both.

I LOVE the all black suede version! You're right it's totally rocker chic! This is the first Gucci bag that has truly caught my eye! I'm also contemplating this bag as well. Something about the black one is so unique that sets it apart from all other chain bags/flaps on the market. Check out Iamchouqette's YouTube channel. I'd link it for you but I have no idea how to lol, but she has the black suede version. BTW, you have impeccable style! I love your Instagram!

Yes I just saw her video! She now has the bag in two other colours I think including the same canvas one. Now that's the ideal to have both lol!!! Yea the black is rock vibe although two friends said it feels a bit generic and that if I wanted a black bag with silver chain it's like Chanel a lot (I have two black Chanel bags). I'll see how both look tomorrow and will probably SNAPCHAT them or Instagram story them or both lol!!

Yes agreed. I'll try on the mother load of styles in this tomorrow since it doesn't cost anything and makes for good mod pics [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] tomorrow I will decide though. I've been trying on the Dioynsus bag since summer 2015 [emoji15]

I think the black based on your style. I love your IG and snaps btw. Have you considered the one with the embroidery on the canvas? That would add some edge and would also go with your aesthetic

Thank you for this. My friends who's opinion I trust - two in particular both say canvas so it's making me really feel like black is wrong for me but I know full well that's what's wrong is to take a bag because others think I should have it. I need to just see whAt my heart loves the most when I'm standing in Gucci tomorrow. Ultimately that's always the winner. It's between those two though I'm sure of it.

Yes I've seen the embroidered ones and do agree I'd Iove one esp the red floral one but for me id rather a cleaner simple vibe.
