Help! What Chanel model is closest to what I want?

I’d love to add a black medium sized classic flap (shw) to my collection but I really don’t like how much room the double flap takes up in the ones I currently own.

Which medium sized Chanel is closest in look to a CF but doesn’t have the double flap? (I’m not a fan of the reissue or 19.) I’m open to all options and am happy to hunt down pre owned or buy new. Pictures, if possible, would be really helpful!

If you want brand new, I think your best bet is going for a seasonal bag. Have you looked at the Filigree flap bag? There's one for sale on FP now.



Or, if you want a vintage bag, the Diana is a super popular style because it resembled the classic flaps but without the double flap. I think there is a modern version of the Diana released in ~2015 but I can't seem to find any photos online.



Some other options would be the coco handle or Trendy CC, but both of those have top handles and don't really resemble a classic flap.


Alternatively, I think the mini actually fits a good amount because it doesn't have the double flap.

I adore the jumbos I own but think look big on me so maybe I should consider a mini. I’ve never spent even a second looking at them because I presumed they wouldn’t hold enough. I’ll have to go in store and take a look.

Yeah the French Riviera and Easy Caviar are no longer in production. But you can find them on the pre-loved market!

The City Walk flap bag is a good alternative IMO, it has single flap and a single chain that is all leather on top so it stays comfortably on your shoulder, it also has a shorter chain like you see on this pic that can serve as a top handle if needed.

Not to speak for the OP but to me this seems like a killa option. I for love the look of the strap curved over the bag so that being a feature of this really appeals to me.
