Based on just the look of both bags, I'd go with the MK. As you stated you're asking in the MK forum so responses (or at least mine) may be a little biased. The other thing you should note is that they're two different styles. One is a satchel (MK) while the other is a shoulder bag (Coach). Since both colours are so similar and I'm assuming the brand isn't a huge factor, perhaps go with the style that you find more practical and will meet your needs[emoji5]

I like the style of the MK but don't like that it's made from bonded leather which I don't think will last as long as a 100% leather bag. If you don't know what bonded leather is, Google can explain it best. The Coach is a less structured hobo style. It would really depend on what style you prefer. As another member has posted, these bags are 2 completely different styles. Personally, I don't care for either one.

Why does bonded leather mean ?
There's a thread that discusses what bonded leather is and the different pros/cons. I've only skimmed it and came to the conclusion that bonded leather doesn't hold the same quality as regular leather since it's partially, not entirely made of leather; it's "blended leather" made from a combination of regular leather as well as processed leather. Here's a link to the thread: http://forum.purseblog.com/threads/new-mk-bags-made-of-bonded-leather.949675/

Yep, and everyone can make their own decision based on the info. I wouldn't buy it just for the fact that it's cheaper materials but still priced quite high... seems like a sleazy move to me. To each their own though. OP buy what you like and want to carry :)

i personally would go for the Coach one out of the 2......mainly b/c of the handles. I love when a bag can be worn 2 different ways (handles/shoulder) but I really DISLIKE it when the to handles stand up straight and can't fold over. Both bags are really nice and seem like great bags but it all depends on how you'll feel carrying it?

Agree with the bolded part especially, it's almost like lowering the quality standards compared to the regular product quality customers are used to and have come to expect. But again, as you stated, it's up to the individual purchasing to decide what works for them.

I personally like the MK look but was on the fence due to the part about it being bonded leather. I have been told numerous times its pebbled leather bonded to saffiano hence the term/wording "bonded" to give it more structure
I will revisit the bag and maybe purchase it when I see it on sale, I don't like paying full price then a week later see it on sale and as I have seen other brands and premier brands use the term bonded
