HELP w/ first YSL bag

Finally about to get my first YSL bag. Been thinking a lot and decided on the Small Loulou in black. How do they hold up?

I can't decide between the black or silvertone hardware. Any help/suggestion is appreciated!!!

I had a Toy Loulou and I had worn it a lot, it looked basically brand new. The only thing that happened was that a thread on the crossbody strap came loose but other than that everything wore beautifully

Some with the black hardware have reported problems with the black chipping off, mainly along the chain after it gets pulled through the grommets. Personally that wouldn’t bother me much unless it was very obvious chipping on the logo. Something for you to consider...

I do love the look of the all black - so edgy - but it may be too much black, kwim? Silver is more classic, less unique. Depends which look you prefer.

I have a toy and can attest the Loulou is a great bag! Stylish and practical and mine still looks new after three months of using daily.
