Help: vacation & lots of walking, what are some Casual shoes to wear with black leggings

I want to look like I have a sense of fashion on vacation as I’ll be wearing black leggings and carrying Louis but not too stuffy as I’ll be outside so what casual shoes can I wear that won’t hurt my feet? I’ve seen girls wear ballet flats but I’m worried about support and having to wear socks that don’t move. I’ve seen girls wear toms but what color looks best? Should I just wear tennis shoes? But ew what socks.

Sneakers. They are very fashionable now and best for walking. Little anklet/no show socks.

I second the above. Adidas Stan Smith sneakers. Or if you want to spend more money, go with designer sneakers.

I agree with the other posters get a pair of sneakers that are comfortable l like toms and consider them my summer slippers but they’re not supportive at all, you might as well be wearing ballet flats. If you want something more formal than a sneaker maybe a hiking sneaker like this https://forsake.com/collections/women/products/womens-lucie-mid?color=gunmetal I grabbed a pair last year and they’re insanely comfortable zero break in time. I always get compliments when I wear them they’re a bit more “dressy” than a sneaker but still very casual. I will say they do run a tad wide imo so if you have a narrow foot that may not work.

Skechers Go Walk Joy. Skechers in general. Dr. Scholl's are another great choice, made for comfort.

Whatever you do, wear the shoes a good amount before your vacation to make sure they are comfortable. Is it going to be warm? Cold? I wore Tory Burch Miller sandals for miles & miles of walking in Vegas & was fine. Also love my sneakers & Havaianas. Hate socks so when I can do flip flops/sandals instead of sneakers I will. But black leggings makes me think it won’t be warm...

I’m all about the Stan Smiths. When on vacation I walk upwards of 5 miles and day and always manage to be comfy in these.

The Office of Angela Scott’s Hammond slip on sneakers are my favorite. I tend to have “problem” feet and I can wear these walking around forever.

Where are you going? Last time I traveled thru Germany almost everybody had sneakers, and not fancy sneakers, Nike or NB but the retro looking ones, on. Even with skirts and dresses.

Most confortable sneakers in my view, they go with (almost) everything and are always stylish. I have them with laces, rain proofed and with the Velcro straps (so easy).

In terms of proper shoes, I find Gucci Brixtons (not Jordans) very soft and confortable, go well with leggings, and you can wear as mules, I use them a lot for traveling. But they may be too flat for some.
