Help- uploading pictures

Ok- so I am pretty computer savy and I am having such difficulty with this. I go to the post, click the attachments paperclip, go to my browser, pick my jpeg file, and press attach. Then, I get a message that the system cannot upload my file. What am I doing wrong?

My guess is your pictures are too large?

Happened to me...and it turned out my pics were too large!
