I just bought a sarah wallet but I feel like its not aligned properly... like the button isn't in the middle of the flower. The back where the flap is, isn't aligned, one side is closer than the other.

I feel like the quality of made in USA items are still not up to par with france/spain. I've gone to a few different boutiques to check out the sarah and every time the SAs think I'm crazy cause they dont see anything wrong with it. But the other wallets are all either even worse or the same. I can't find any not MIU ones or properly aligned. Sarah owners, are you wallets properly aligned or a bit off too?

What should i do? Return it or keep it since i think they're all like that in canada.. sigh. I just sold my old DE emilie too thinking i"ll have a new wallet to use :sad:

Oh wow, I see what you mean. I have the old Sarah, which I didn't even realize until I saw your pictures, is completely different. It's one piece of canvas so there is no seam on the back and the gold button is not in the middle of a flower/symbol. Sorry I don't have a new model to compare it to but I get why you're upset! Hope you can get some resolution.
 
I am pretty sure this is how LV designed the pattern on this wallet to be. On the empreinte curieuse is not centered on the flower either. I would keep it and enjoy it!

Hello! I don't own the Sarah in monogram, or the new style. But what I can say is that for the money you spent you should be 100% happy with your purchase. Any GOOD SA should understand your concerns. I'd suggest you return the one you have and either go with a vernis or epi material or perhaps a different style of wallet. Good luck!!!
 
I have the older style Sarah and the gold button is aligned perfectly. I don't think the alignment of the flowers would bother me but the button would. Maybe you can return it and buy one online? You're still taking a chance but I tend to have good luck ordering things from LV.com and they ship pretty quickly.
 
I've noticed that with LV the precision isn't about alignment, but about being mirrored in all places. It wouldn't bother me-- tha said if it bothers you, just exchange it! LV has return and exchange policies specifically for this reason :smile:
 
If it's going to bug you then return it and wait for one that is to your satisfaction. Do what's going to make you happiest, regardless of what we all would do.
 
I have seen several monogram sarah wallets online and in the stores and none of the buttons are aligned in the middle of the flower except the one in the pic on LV's website. I don't think you will find one aligned.

Mine is like this, I bought it last December.

Maybe you should take it back and try to exchange for a new one as you KNOW it's gonna bother you.
