Hi,

I am planning my next purchase and am out in Portugal again - home of walk in bougainviller 35 Birkin earlier this month. I want a casual bag and love the messenger style of my Evelyne so am veering towards a So Kelly. The staff here are so helpful and will try and get a bag in but I am not sure on the sizes of this bag and as they currently don't have one in hard to gauge. I have a PM Evelyne and it is about right. I understand the So Kelly comes in 22 and 26 - is that right? I don't want a huge bag being only 5ft 2". Is the 22 the right size? They have a 22 in Gris in Lisbon but haven't given the go ahead until I am sure on the size.

I am swanning aroung the pool here in my new Brides de Gala mousseline and feel fabulous. It is so amazing. It has been a sarong, a dress and who knows what else. Why did I wait so long to buy one?!!

I am about your height and I do feel the 22 is right for us. I just cannot decide on the colour. Just offered one in Navy ( according to SA) Evergrain with PHW and it goes so well with jeans! Sigh. I hope you get yours soon!

I am your height and very petite and have tried on both sizes. I like a big-ish bag in general (35 birkin, evelyne GM, balenciaga day) and I feel like I could rock either size. In a neutral or a dark color I would prefer the 26cm but in a bright color I think the 22cm would be just right. If you don't tend to like quite a large bag I would definitely go with the 22cm.

I agree with perio and mcs; the 22cm is just right for our ht (I am also 5'2). I tried it on and it doesn't seem fit much. But I like the slenderness of the silhouette it lends to the overall look.

Thank you all. I would like blue abysse or de prusse with PHW so will see if they can get one in here. I will go for the 22 as I don't carry much and big bags make me look like I am dressing up in my Mother's clothes! I must confess that I feel like I am hauling around a travel bag when I use my Birkin so I won't want to make that mistake again.

For anyone looking to buy in Europe things are really picking up with the Euro and every move makes Hermes relatively less expensive. I haven't tried this tact on my DH yet as he is still reeling over the price of my new Azap wallet but a few more points and I just might.
