Help: Recommendations for NYC cobbler

Hi all! It's been many years since I've had to resole a pair of CL's in NYC. The last time I believe I went to Arty's who did a decent job, but I've recently read many negative reviews on Yelp. I know that Leather Spa also is recommended on CL's website and has gotten media attention recently but also seems to have garnered some negative attention on Yelp as well. Santana Leather Care is also listed, but doesn't seem to have reviews on their yelp listing.

Can anyone provide any input as to their experiences with their NYC cobbler and who they would recommend? Looking to have vibrams placed on basically brand new booties and heels. Thanks in advance!

I also 2nd Empire Shoe Repair on Lex & 71st, my sister has taken her Loubies there & George does great work.
Regarding the Vibram sole it is a different matter. Vibram has authorized cobblers that stock & resole your shoes, I've had 2 shoes resoled, but they were boots. Vibram will resole your shoes if you mail them in, their website also provides a list of cobblers in the city. I would give them a call or drop in, it's only a handful of them and speak with them to see what experience they have working with Loubies because they are rather narrow and delicate compared to shoes usually soled with Vibram.
