Hello Everyone,

After waiting for a long time for the PM Reverse to be restocked, I've scored one recently as it magically appears available on the website one night so I ordered one immediately.

It has just arrived today, MIU (small sigh), but what triggered my OCD is that the pattern on the reverse mono flap doesn't seem to be centered. It is very obvious where the clasp/leather strip is - see attached photo. I checked the stock photos on the website to see if I've received a funky one, but the one from the stock photo also looks like it's not perfectly aligned (2nd photo). Am I over-analyzing the pattern or should I hold out for another one?

Thanks for your input!

Honestly, it wouldn't bother me since I probably won't think about it. However, if it bothers you, definitely return it and wait for another one. It's a beautiful bag. I have the regular monogram, but I have never noticed if it was center on the flap or not. I hope this helps!

What’s so sigh worthy of a MIU bag?

The bag looks fine to me. With the problematic reputation of PM’s, if you’re already unhappy due to the alignment of the pattern, you should probably just return the bag and buy something completely different.

My reverse isn’t perfectly aligned. It’s only very slightly off.
You honestly can’t notice once the bag is on.
If this is something that you think will bother you I would go into store if you can and speak to an SA.

My mono one isn’t perfectly aligned there either but is otherwise perfect. I don’t think this is a made in the USA issue, more like an overall issue if you can call it an issue at all. If you’re unhappy just return it. Have a nice weekend! :flowers:

Yeah, I would much prefer the alignment of the pattern like yours. Mind I ask if yours is also MIU? Thanks!

I don't mean it in a snobby way but I've had a few bad experiences with defective bags and coincidentally they were all MIU so whenever I see that tag it gives me weird vibe. I originally purchased the PM in regular mono and it got recalled last year due to the glazing issue, the pattern was fine. For some reasons I still coming back to this bag because of the style and functionality...what can I say? Thanks for your input

It would bother me a little to be honest. But I also probably wouldn't have noticed until it was too late to return lol. I'm not sure it'd be worth the effort of a return for me. So I guess it'd annoy me but I'd keep it?

The alignment is slightly off, but it looks like your bag appears to be sewn with clean and rounded edges. If the rest of the bag looked good I would keep it. But, obviously it's bothering you about the alignment so maybe it's best to return it. I think I would rather have a bag sewn and finished properly as opposed to having the alignment perfect.
Actually, my MIU items have all been great (I know..knock on wood, haha).

I've looked every nook and cranny it's definitely very well made, aside from the alignment of the pattern if I really have to pick on it, hence the dilemma. But I'm leaning toward keeping it :)

I don’t see the misalignment. I must not be very good at noticing that issue!
