I was in a rush and i put DD's sippy in my MK white leather tote and it somehow flipped upside down I guess while I aws running I didn't realize it until i felt it soaking.I dumped everything out and used a towel with water.is there anything I can do to clean the milk?TIA

I wish I knew. Where did it soak through? I don't know anything about MK leather, but with my other leather bags got wet I tried to soak it up with a dry towel. Then I damped the rest of the leather panel evenly so that when it dried it did not leave a wet mark,but again I have never done this to an Mk bag.

I also have a question for you. I just received my jet set tote and it has a gold lining that really smells [kind of like oil or plastic]. Does that smell go away? The one I saw at macy's had a different lining with logos and I did not notice any odor. Good luck with your bag. I hope you can get the stain out.

Maybe ask in the general handbags section on what to do or call the company and ask for a suggestion. I'm so sorry this happened to you. As for me so far I just took all the stuffing out and am airing it out in my house.

I'd take it to a cobbler. I just got the Bedford Satchel in dove python and I'm terrified of something like this happening. Which is why I'm trying to justify getting the brown signature jet set medium tote. :D

I LOVE my white leather but with kids, I'm a nervous wreck carrying it around as an everyday bag.

I hope you get good suggestions here or "out there."

I don't mean to TJ, but I've noticed some of the jet set mediums have different linings. Specifically, the display on Macys site has a solid almost leather like lining while the display on Nordstrom has a nice monogrammed lining. I wonder if the difference has anything to do with the smell in yours.

This is what I was thinking too. I went to macys today to see their jet set tote in snake and it had a monogram lining, but right behind it was a north south tote that had the lining like mine and they had a slight smell. The Sa said the other two were new and still smell like the plastic bags they came in. Where the tote had been sitting there for a while. She said my bag probably just needs to air out. I bought fabreeze and sprayed it on the inside of a towel then folded the towel and placed in the bag. Hopefully this will absorb some of the smell. I read about it in one of the other sections. I really like the leather on the outside of the bag. I am afraid if I sent it back and order one from another company that has the nicer monogram liner they might send me one with wrinkled leather,which I have seen sometimes. The smell is really awful so I hope it comes out.

Help!!! I got stain on my Mk bag, I think I got the coated canvas one. Anyone knows how to remove the stain? I want to cry now, it's brand new never used. My cousin shipped it for me & I don't know what happened. I want to cry now!!! Huhuhuhu :'-/
