I am trying to decide between a Sutton in Peanut or Dark Kacki. They look very similar on line. If you have either colour, how did you decide which colour worked best for you? I am looking for something that is for all seasons but would be light enough for a summer bag. Any thoughts to help me decide?

I personally like peanut more than dark khaki. Anyway both are good for all year round. You should see them in person that's the easiest way to make a decision.

Agree you need to see both in person to decide, its very hard to capture colours accurately in pictures sometimes.

Here's a picture of my Dark Khaki Selma if it helps. Khaki has quite a lot of depth to it as a colour, it looks light brown in some lights and more cream in others. Its personal preference though. Its also not dissimilar to Dark Dune.

I'll use Dark Khaki winter and summer. Got winter boots in this colour and summer ballet flats!

Peanut really reminds me of creamy and smooth peanut butter. It has a deeper nutty color with a tinge of yellow.

Dark khaki is less saturated I think. Dark khaki is on the right and my dark dune is on the left. Dark khaki is like a milky coffee color.

I returned dark khaki since I kept the dark dune. Also peanut goes better with my skintone. Both colors are classy though. Is there any way to try them on in person? I think you would be able to tell by how each color looks against your skintone.

I chose the Dk Khaki over Peanut only because I was trying to match the shade to a few nude shade pair of shoes. The Dk Khaki is a perfect neutral bag. My pic is pretty spot on for the color. The Peanut is gorgeous too, has more golden tones.

Wise choices based on good reasons. All of these answers point out good personal reasons on how and why we choose the colors we do. Skin tone, matching shoes or other things in your wardrobe. Only you know these things. Good luck and gotta LOVE this forum!
