HELP : ordering of a birkin

Newbie question: My SA said that I can place an order for a birkin.

So what is the best way to specify the order

I want something in red. I read somewhere in the forum that someone ordered an RG and got rejected.
I wanted to ask for red Casaque.
But Since the SA not sure when will I get the bag. m afraid by the time they processed it SS season already gone.

Any suggestion? If I just specify red, I'm afraid that the SA will not process it seriously.
I want phw and I don't have preference on the leather.

I believe that the new, streamlined (and more limited) Special Order process will allow you to find out which colors/leathers can be ordered. It should also be possible to learn whether your order was accepted fairly quickly. At least, that was my experience. So talk with your SA about which reds are currently order-able, and that will also dictate which leathers you can choose from. Congrats and enjoy!

Currrent red are ruby, tosca and sanquien..i believe you cant place an order for rg.

your SA should walk you through the whole process. go into the store and go thru the swatch book so that you know what you order is what you want!

hi, just wondering which country you are from cause i tried asking last year in singapore and hong kong but was told that the lists were closed

p/s : try red ruby - saw it on a kelly wallet at the airport last week. looks great!
