I’m looking to purchase some little diamond hoops. Granted, they are not super expensive but I don’t want to have to change them out and I want them to be my everyday earrings. I was planning on getting rose gold because 1) it looks better on my skin tone than yellow gold and 2) I already have other piercings in my ear that are rose gold, such as a daith hoop piercing that i would have to switch out ( and spend more $) if I decided to go with another metal.
Should I stick to rose gold or switch to white gold since it’s technically a better investment and rose gold is “trendy”?

Just my opinion, but diamonds always look better in white gold. It will make the diamonds look whiter without reflection from the metal. I don't wear rose gold, but I certainly mix white and yellow so I think that look is fine, too.

I voted for rose as you say that it looks better for your skin tone. Second choice would be white as both rose and white look beautiful together. Look forward to seeing what you choose:)

Rose. Go with what’s best on your skin tone Especially near your face. I wore diamonds in wg for years. just this year, DH and my jeweler told me that they thought diamonds in rose gold was a softer younger look and better on my skintone. I was like, couldn’t you both have mentioned this before?

Another vote for white gold. I have diamond hoops and studs in white gold, and my VCA sweet Alhambra necklace in solid rose gold. My diamond engagement ring is set in platinum. It's fun mixing metals when done right.
