Help on Speedy B strap - Return or Not?

Hi! I got a pre-loved Speedy b 30 from Yoogi's for a good price. It has more dirt on the vachetta than I expected but I think I can clean it up pretty well and condition it. I wanted a well-loved bag so I wouldn't worry so much about it.
I was inspecting the bag and found this on the strap (see pics). I can't tell if it's cracked or separating or what? It doesn't seem to impact the stability of the bag. It does not show through on the other side. I also know I can get a strap later if I need to...
but would you return and wait for another pre-loved or accept the flaw (for the price) since it doesn't seem to impact functionality?

I just checked my Eva and it has the same thing.

Yeah, it's just an overlapping part of leather I think. Saw that on my Trotteur from many years ago as well

I finally used my Eva strap today for the first time on my Mini Pochette and noticed this too (had the strap in Eva's box since day I bought it back in like 2012 LOL). Took me a second and showed hubby but then realized what it was.
