Help! Not sure which bag to buy: Gucci or Balenciaga

Hi PF peeps!

So I got a bonus from work (yay!) and really want a cute, small crossbody bag. I want to stay around $850-$950 range so narrowed it down to the Gucci Soho Small Shoulder or The Balenciaga Giant 12 Golden Hip Crossbody.

Help! Want the bag that I can toss my wallet, keys and cell in on those days when I'm doing a lot of running around. Any and all advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated!!

The Gucci Soho Disco, IRL it's unbeatable for a practical small-ish bag

Gucci. The leather would wear much better, it's a classic, and it's very elegant, yet fun.

I'm not a Balenciaga fan, but of the two you've posted I'd pick the Balenciaga.

I'm a Bal girl but I still prefer the Gucci Disco. I have the Disco and I adore it.
While both bags can fit your wallet, phone and keys, the Disco will fit more than the Bal. Also, the strap on the Disco is longer, plus more adjustable (Gucci will also put in extra wholes if you want) and more comfortable imo.

The Disco can also be dressed up for evenings, I think.

Depends on what you need to carry on a daily basis. I think the Bal is super cute but I bet the Gucci is more roomy

Funny you should post this, Chiarijj...I had the same dilemma! I wanted a small crossbody bag in pink/fuchsia for casual dinners out. I picked the exact same bags that you did plus another one. I went with the other one but of the two you posted I like the Gucci better.
