Hi all,

I wore my pearl combat boots for the first time today. They felt fine in the store when I purchased them but when I put them on this morning I could tell they were going to give me blisters on my heels, so I put some plasters on. Even with the plasters I was in a lot of pain towards the bottom of my heel. I bought some blister plasters while I was out but even after I put those on I was still in pain. I suppose once the damage is done...

I think because I have narrow feet and heels, my heels move around a bit. I’ve had this issue with some Chanel hi tops sneakers before and even heel grips didn’t work so I ended up selling them. I really, really don’t want to have to sell these!

Any advice? Has anyone else had this issue with combat boots? TIA.

I would try to replace the Chanel insole. The Chanel insole eg in sneakers is pretty but I do not find it comfy to walk on...

I have also similiar problems with my suede sneakers, no blisters though for me. When I bought them they were super comfy but after 30 min walk they are really uncomfortable. I think the solution would be to size up for the next pair and for now try a different insole.

Rub some anti friction cream on the part of the foot that is getting irritated. I swear by this brand Gold Bond Friction defense. Sold in Walmart looks like a deodorant stick this is not oily or greasy. Rub a small amount on the foot that is rubbing. Good luck. There are other brands also on Amazon.

Thanks for the tip. does this work with socks over the top?

thanks for the tip about the insoles. I don’t think I would size up though because my foot is already slipping up a bit. It’s just because I have very narrow feet.

Yes you rub the product directly on your foot that's irritated then you can put on your socks or hosiery. This product work for me the whole day I wear a shoe that was giving me blisters but on some of the reviews some people had to reapply the product though out the day if you purchase just keep the product with you in case you might have to reapply. The best way to describe this product is like a coating or wax that is a barrier protecting your feet. Again go on Amazon search anti friction, stick, balm, gel. You will see Soulmates blister blocker read the reviews. Good luck. Please let us know how this turns out.

I haven’t worn my new combat boots out yet because I hate breaking in new shoes...I could tell when I was wearing them around inside the house that they would rub a little. I am definitely going to go get some gold bond. Thanks for the tip!!

What about an insole that is only half of the length of the insole. That would raise your heel a bit higher and probably would stop the friction. I use this type of insoles in my espadrilles to be more comfortable. I have attached a picture here for reference.2B8E144D-AEE8-4CF0-9B41-9784875D0162.jpeg

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that! What a bummer. Hopefully you can try some of the suggestions others have posted and solve the problem. I too have very narrow heels so I totally understand your pain. I have bought and sold so many designer shoes due to them not fitting right. Luckily the Classic Combat boots I bought gave me no problem.
Fingers crossed once broken in yours will be just as comfy!
