Hi

I was after some advice please. I have never owned a Coach Bag before but I have been given the opportunity to purchase this lovely Madison Minetta in a coral colour at less than half price

It is only 1 week old and is in fab condition

My question is what does the Saffiano leather wear like? I have read some reviews on the internet that its not so good and the corners can peel away etc as the process is a stamping on the leather when it is made ?

Also on the long strap, one side does not unclip, to take the strap off. It is catching on the circular part where it attaches. Is this normal or a design flaw on this one?

I am so torn, as I love the colour and all the little compartments inside are just fab but being cautious as never really looked at Coach bags before till now

I love saffiano leather. It's great in bad weather and that's when I use my saffiano bag most. I hope others who own this bag will chime in soon for you.

I like the saffiano leather. It is sturdy, and I don't worry about carrying my saff bag in bad weather. I can't speak on the Minetta strap problem since I don't own one. ( my saff bag is a factory bag named Cora. )

Can you ask the seller about the strap?
Hope it works out for you, she's a cutie!

Never been a fan of Saffiano leather. Always been partial to soft, slouchy leather on any designer bag. My friends who do own Saffiano leather bags love em and think they're very durable. Haven't seen any peeling on their bags either. Hope this helped.
