Help Needed which Marmont; Small top handle or Medium Matelasse shoulder bag?

Hello Ladies,
I already posted in the Marmont Club and need your help in choosing.
Long story short; found both these Marmonts at Century 21 Department Store in NY and I have always wanted the medium matelassé shoulder bag but did not want to pay the hefty price tag of 2590.00.
Last week I stopped in the store and found both of these gorgeous bags below retail price. I bought both bags and I need to return one. I cannot keep both.
So which one would you pick? Both are gorgeous and both are black leather. Both can be carried on the shoulder.

Can you post mod shots of how you’d wear it? They are so similar (size and color) it’s impossible to choose. If both fit your needs, either one. But a mod shot would help.

I changed my mind- I prefer the shoulder flap bag, but can’t edit my vote above.

I think the shoulder bag looks more simplistic and I prefer that. Usually I don't mind a top handle, but this one is so pronounced I think it distracts from the overall of the design.

Thank you for your feedback! After thinking hard about these two marmonts and how they fit my lifestyle and use, I have decided to return today the small marmont top handle bag. The medium marmont mateLasse shoulder bag fits more of my stuff and my hubby said it also looks better on me.
So I will keep medium marmont shoulder bag.
