My husband bought me this necklace for our anniversary. The sales lady convinced him to buy it and I don't know if I like it! My husband doesn't really have a problem with me exchanging it for something I like better but I am new to Tiffany and have no idea what is classic, nice, etc. Any suggestions? I am 40 and I just thought this particular necklace seemed a bit young, but I'm not the expert. What do you guys think? Should I keep it or exchange it? If I exchange it, what should I look at? Thank you!

I think it's absolutely beautiful!! But it comes down to how you feel about it...if you can see yourself wearing and loving it for years to come, then keep! Otherwise, you should exchange for something that makes your heart sing! [emoji4]

Go to the boutique and try on a few pieces then decide. I recommend you check out the DBTY collection. As for this particular piece, I am around your age and I would totally wear it. My friend is in her mid 60s and she has the exact same pendant, it looks great on her.

"Please return to Tiffany & co" <- Listen to the necklace

I think that, since you seem to have enough doubt about this to post it here, that you should go back to TCO and try on some other pieces. I would suggest that you look at some of the diamond keys. Personally, I agree something more subtle might be more comfortable for you to wear. My SA wears a gorgeous, but delicate diamond key, and every time I see her I admire it. I'm not sure this is the one she wears, as I am not a key wearer, but I know it looks stunning on. Also, she told me that when they are showing someone a piece that will be their first from TCO, they often go to Return to Tiff pieces because so many people want their first piece to be recognizable. Personally, I don't wear anything with a logo, but a lot of people do prefer that. (My entire collection is from Elsa Peretti.) It's a very personal choice but I think you should go for something that makes your heart sing every time you wear it. What a sweet husband you have!

Lovely necklace but too expensive not to love! If your husband has no problem with an exchange, go to Tiffany and try on different things. Who knows...you may end up loving this necklace the best but you won't know until you investigate other styles.
