Thanks in advance . . . I want to give my mother a designer bag for Christmas - something that she wouldn’t otherwise buy for herself. She likes purses that have a lot of organization in them. Any recommendations about what designers might meet that need?

It would help to list what she normally carries; what price point you wish to spend; what size and whether weight is a consideration; and in terms of style, to include handle, flap, shape orientation; and material.

Many of the premier designer bags are not particularly practical.

I can say from my own experience that my mom buys expensive bags as well as receives them as gifts from me. She has plenty of Hermes, chanel, gucci, Loewe, dior. And her favorite is a mid sized le sport sac nylon crossbody. She does use lightweight totes from Goyard, Moynat, and Faure le Paige (sp?)

If you go to a dept store website and search bags by price and style, sometimes that can provide interesting ideas
And if you modify your thread title to include bag with organization or some such, it may attract the responses from more members

Agree with the above posts.

If she likes organizations, most bags are open or may have 1-2 dividers or come with a little pouch, but that's pretty much it.
You're probably better off buying a bag organizer for the bag itself.

You could consider an accordion style bag which can have 2-4 sections but keep in mind they tend to use more leather/material than an open bag and can be heavier or more bulky depending on the design.
