Help my slingbacks keep slipping off!

hi

This is my first time posting in CL forum! I have a pair of size 40 which fits fine except it keeps slipping off at the back! I bought it on sale and I can't return it. I need to look to you experts for advice! Is there anything I can do to the shoe at all? Help! I do love the shoes!
