Oh my god, it's sooo much information here, i'm overwhelmed.
I'm a mother of 2yo and somehow all my bags at the moment are diaper bags. But i love love love bags and wanna start buying some nice ones (moderate price though). Hope you will help me :)

For a start i cant figure out if this Karl Lagerfeld bag with pearls is supercute or just weird. It's fighting now for my credit card against Rebecca Minkoff love crossbody))

They are both cute bags. My first thought is that the RM bag has a more classic look to it where as the KL has a more trendy look. I personally lean more toward classic because you can use them longer.

I would be afraid of the pearls on the bag of the KL. Will the pearls eventually come off somehow? I’d be done with the bag if they did plus how noisy is it when setting it on furniture and will the pearls/hardware scratch leather or snag my clothing?

As far as the RM - are you ok with a chain strap? They aren’t always the most comfortable.

With all that being said they’re both cute but I like the RM best. I think it’s a better choice in terms of look, practicality and investment.

Both bags look lovely but both also have a con that would be a deal breaker for me - the pearls possibly coming off or getting damaged on the KL and the chain strap on the RM. I can't deal with a heavy, clunky chain like that.

You need to figure out what you can live with and make your decision based on that.

Thank you sooo much for your answers!
Amazona said it pretty short: it's ok, but nothing is perfect. To say the truth, "perfect"ness i see only in bags of quite another price segment, like Proenza Schouler :(
So i go with RM probably, as you pointed, it's just easier bag to have. Just the price for sanding it to EU is crazy

Do you by any chance know another smart choice in mid-size cute-powder crossbody?
What do you wear as an all-round bag?

You can get RMs at fashionette and Zalando - at least you know the price, and there are no more duties to pay!
They also offer Kate Spade.

Personally I would never buy anything from Karl because I don‘t like his personality.
The other day I saw a girl with a puse with his signature in gold tone hardware. It was so ridiculous. But that is a personal preference.

Totally agree, that looks quite weird and seems like wearing a piece of someone else's self-obsesseness))
In fact i ordered KL from zalando on a sale and just fell in love with quality, leather is sleek and sturdy. Cannot make myself send it back, even though RM is on it's way. And an inner hamster is screaming "salesalesale, i want it cheeeeap!"

Do you by any chance know if those pearl studs are still in trend? I noticed them in quite many designer bags.

There are also quite a few of those Rebecca Minkoff bag on The RealReal. I own this bag, and the chain isn’t heavy nor does it bother me. Mine must be an older version because it also has a top handle. I bought mine from Neiman Marcus Last Call, and I love it.

I swear that I saw that Karl Lagerfeld bag that a previous poster linked at TJMaxx.
