Help me with pochette accessories azur please

I just got pochette accessories azur from 2007 in very good condition from Fashionphile I like it but I still have a problem
1 why the canvas very soft compared to pochette accessories monogram NM. Is it canvas normally come soft like this?‍
2 it’s kind of old should I return and get the new one from Louis Vuitton website

The DA canvas is based on my experience the softest canvas from LV. On my PA DA it is also much softer than on my PA mono. I don’t think that it’s an argument to return the bag - it depends imo much more on how satisfied you are with the condition and price of the bag.

The softer a pochette, the more I like it.
And yes, Azur is the softest. Vuitton plays around with PVC thickness too, but the general rules is that the darker the dye for a PVC compound, the less flexible it gets. Which also explains why the white based Azur is softer than the brown based Monogram, which is usually also softer than the black based Ebene.
