I'm so excited! Today I received my Michele CSX-36 from Nordstrom! I'm also a little bummed. On the Nordstrom website, it states that this particular watch has a sapphire crystal. My watch does not say that on the back. I thought if the crystal is sapphire, it would be stamped on the back. When I called Michele, the rep only suggested I send it to them to be tested. Do any of you own a Michele that has a sapphire crystal but doesn't have the stamp? I would love to save myself the hassle of shipping it to Michele.

Hi Texas Girl! I have three Michele watches. My urban and deco park have saphire crystal stamped on the back; however, my CSX36 does not. I think the older watches have it but the newer watches dont.
Thanks for your replies! So how do you know they are sapphire? Did you get something that stated it? My husband is all set on taking it back tomorrow, but I want to keep it if it's sapphire. Is there a way to tell the difference between sapphire and mineral? The watch is just gorgeous. I HATE to return anything, but my husband is insistent on the sapphire crystal at this price.
There was a label that said this watch was manufactured 05/10, so that is pretty recent. Maybe it is one of the newer ones that isn't stamped???
