I am getting ready to get a bag as a bday present to myself. Originally, I had decided on the LV neverfull, but upon seeing it today I just wasn’t in love. The straps are thin, it didn’t fit well on me, and I just didn’t get the feeling I wanted about this bag.
I went into Gucci afterwards and tried on some bags. I found the Ophidia GG tote https://www.gucci.com/us/en/pr/men/...tegoryPath=Women/Womens-Handbags/Womens-Totes. I pretty much fell in love, it’s way nicer and fits me way better.
My question is how does the wear and tear go on these? Can you carry as much without ruining like the neverfull? Also, the inside is faux suede, should I be worried about that? And lastly, my husband mentioned that there was some Gucci controversy that I hadn’t heard about and that might lose its value.
