Help me with Chanel 2.55 reissue colour

Hello!
I own black WOC and black medium Timeless bag (both silver chain). Now I want to buy 2.55 and can’t decide with a colour. The problem is that I love love love black reissue with gold chain, but my collection need some colours. As I checked online I realy like red option, but there is no red bag to check in real. Please anyone, maybe you saw this bag or even own it and you have more real photos of this colour? is it dark red or more bright red?
Also could you please share other colour options for 2.55 bag. Which one would you recommend? (please share photos of store stock if you have any).
My SA also has dark blue, how about this one?

I saw this bag in person at Neiman Marcus. The color of this bag is very similar to the pic. I wouldn’t say it was a dark red or a bright red. It is definitely not a dull red either. It‘s a rich, saturated shade of red and definitely makes a statement. I probably would have bought it if I didn’t already own a dark red woc that I love.

My two cents: buy this bag in black with aged ghw. IMO that is the best combination no mattter what size. The ghw makes it elegant and easy to dress up while the aged calfskin makes it pair well with casual attire also. The gold against the black is striking. Personally, I would consider what you will actually use more often rather than buying color just for the sake of variety. I love my red woc and though it is a versatile color, I reach for my neutral bags more often.

I haven’t seen this particular red in person but if you’re looking to add a pop of color to you collection this is perfect. I feel every girl needs a beautiful red bag in their collection. If you plan to add other Chanels to your collection then I agree with the above post about adding this in black with gold hardware. It’s different enough from your collection. If you’re anything like me, I like variety so the red is still my first choice with dark blue as a 2nd close choice.

Hi there, I have a black and a red 226. I love both, carry both frequently and reach for the black more often. It is my favourite bag in my bag wardrobe. I was on a waitlist for black and acquired my red one while travelling. When I got the call for the black I hesitated because I felt I was lucky enough to have my red one. I ultimately decided to get the black and I am really glad I did. It is one of my most frequently carried bags.

The red in your picture is wonderful. Do you wear red bags often? Have a look at pictures of people wearing Reissues, does your eye snap to the black ones or red ones? To quote you,

Can you go try on the bag and see what you think about it/how you feel?

Thank you for your answers! It helps me a lot!
My main concern is that the large size is more casual and as for casual look black would be more practical. But there is something abput that red shade. I can’t stop thinking about it ❤️

My Chanel collection is full of black as I'm a person who reaches for the black bag more often.

I love the Reissue and have 2 in my collection but I'd recommend adding a mini classic flap in red color instead. It's a very good statement piece. The smaller size and color are not too loud like the red Reissue.

The black Reissue with the gold HW is such a statement piece and easy to use. You won't regret your purchase.

You said it that you love the Black , so I suggest you get it.
Don’t red just because you need a colored bag in ur collection .
I got 4 Chanel bags and all black ( all are different styles).
So, choose what you love .

After seeing your photo with a peek at your neutral wardrobe...I have to amend my initial advice. Get the red or the black whichever you can get your hands on first! I think you’ll eventually end up with both! :) Maybe try to get your hands on the mini reissue size in red and go for a classic size for the black w/ghw.
