Hi lovely members,
May is my birthday month.
Same as every year, I always buy “from me to me” gift.
For this year, I want to buy a nice medium size bag. I am done with small tiny bag. No more playing tetris for me. I have a lot of bags and I always rotate my bag. I want canvas bag, since I have many leather bag from other brand.
This bag will be my weekend bag. I am not confident enough to bring branded bags to office, I don’t want my boss to think that he paid me too much. :no:
So please help me to choose between 2 bags.
- Neo Noe Monogram Caramel
- Carryall PM Monogram

The CarryAll PM - it looks very pretty and, I think, I will fit a bit more than the NeoNoe. Also, I personally find it a bit easier arranging and then finding stuff in a bag that is a classic shape as opposed to a bucket bag. But more than anything, I just really like the design!

It’s such a tough choice. I consider the NeoNoé THE bag of the past decade, such an amazing design, but honestly I prefer it in leather, especially Épi (as it was originally designed for). I have seem some canvas ones turning out very beat up after a while, so I’d say a canvas NeoNoé is only for the careful amongts us.
The Carryall is a safe choice, a very good classic design. Wish they didn’t put a random luggage tag on every new bag.

Im not a great help :lol:, as both are really beautiful, but let me mention this:

The Carryall has folded corners and the canvas is quite soft and thin, so it may show corner wear quite soon. But of course this is a personal preference with „how much wear“ you can live.

On the other hand, when the canvas Neonoe was released I read a lot about canvas cracking around the top. Dont know if this issue is fixed nowadays. So maybe do a bit further research about how the bags wear before you decide.

But in the end the most important aspect is your heart should sing! Good luck deciding and let us know what you picked up :flowers:

To be honest.. I have Neo Noe before, sold it and now missing it. Please don’t judge me, I have many love and hate relationships with bags, like for pochette metis, I have bought and sold 4 times.. I pray hard I won’t miss this bag anymore, else it will be 5 times..
The good thing about Carryall is I never have it before. My concern is not the corner, but I just worry I feel annoyed by the ribbon tie. Sorry I don’t know how you call it. I saw some people give tips on how to handle it, but I am still clueless. :facepalm:

I vote for the NN, but I’m biased because I have one. Mine is from 2018, bought in Italy (my souvenir) and there is no cracking whatsoever. Do you own a Neverfull? I know they are not the same, but the Carryall reminds me of the Neverful. I’m not a fan of the Carryall so my vote goes to the NN. GL deciding.

Yes I have neverfull. This bag is my all time favorite, regret selling it before, so after repurchase I have decided not to sell it ever. Thank you for helping. :flowers:
