Hi everyone,

It is my first post here (I'm more a Hermes girl :p)...and I would appreciate your help to choose my next watch.

So far, I only own :
- a classic : a Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso in yellow gold
- a dressy : Poiray in white gold with diamond bezel and removable strap

Now, I would like to have a sport watch, and thought a Rolex in stainless steel or White gold could do it :graucho:...

I've done some research, and found :
- I love black dial with white index / oyster bracelet in stainless steel / flueted bezel
- I'm not too fond of the "bubble" for the date...so if I can avoid it ;)...

I was thinking a Air-King in stainless steel with a black dial could be great....
BUT I have very very thin wrist and I think 34mm would be ridiculous on me : a friend let me tried her 36 Datejust and it was way too big on me:nogood:...so 31mm would be the max in size for me.

Any ideas  ?

Have you tried on the midsize?
Here's a photo of the midsize and ladies on me, I also have really small wrists.
Do you like that one except w/ a black face? Have you seen black MOP?

Thank you Swanky :flowers: !Your watches are gorgeous !

I love your midsize (midsize=31mm ?) : fluted bezel , oyster bracelet and no "bubble date"!
On your dial I can read "Oyster perpetual", so could it be the model I'm looking for :D ?
Oyster perpetual / Oyster bracelet with fluted bezel in midsize/31mm ???

I love mother of pearl for dials, but this one is supposed to be a sporty watch...so no MOP or diamonds allowed LOL !

When i was looking for my rolex I tried on the jubilee in stainless(no gold accent) with the black face and it was gorgeous! VERY sporty looking.

Maybe try that combo?

Thanks to your picture Swanky, I've made some research on Rolex website, and found out the Air-King , my dream sporty watch without the bubble date (but too big helas for my small wrist) is ACTUALLY part of the "Oyster Perpetual" line and so I should be able to find her small sister in 31 or 26 mm.

Thank you for your suggestions Ceya and Tokikat8. I have to check these bezel/bracelet combos  !

I'll go to the boutique tomorrow and report...
and of course, I hope to do a reveal :graucho: !

Wish me "Bonne chance" ;) !
