Help me pick my Turtle Dove Empreinte

Which one do you prefer? For context, I don’t currently have any LV bags (had one but sold it and have mostly Chanel) and I have the Neverfull MM Empreinte in black scheduled for delivery, which I am basically certain I will keep.

I prefer the OTG generally and specifically in your situation since you’re getting a NF

I'd go with the bag style you'll get more use out of. If neverfull-type totes are your thing, keep turtledove. If you know you'll grab OTG turtledove more often, then keep OTG.

On you, I like how OTG looks, but neverfull looks better with what you're wearing in the photos. You know your style, so I'd also base your choice on how you dress yourself and which bag complements it better.

I have that kind of NF MM (same color too).....and I love it! So of course, I'd vote for NF

I like the look of the otg better. After trying on both, i feel nf would be more practical for me. The corners are rounder on the nf and less edgy/bulky than the otg. Therefore, i think the corner wear on nf will be much better than the otg. Also, the nf comes with a pouch where you can hook on a strap and make it a little crossbody bag. The otg is also about $1k more. Of course, the look of nf is more casual imo. So, it really depends which look and style suits the lifestyle better.

Thanks, everyone, for your your votes and opinions. Love this color and the Empreinte, so it was a tough decision. I ultimately decided to go with the NF. I have a whole different post about my issues with that, but hopefully my everything is resolved now. The main reason I decided on the NF vs. OTG is I already have a few more “formal” bags in various shades of beige, but no casual grab and go tote in beige. Otherwise, I probably would have gone with the OTG. Appreciate all the feedback!

Agreed. While I’ve always understood the practicality of it, the Neverfull never quite worked for me since I don’t love the canvas prints in bags and Epi, which is basically a textured patent, is too delicate for my taste. Also, pre-COVID I never really carried much daily so the size wasn’t ideal for me. But now that I am carrying extra masks, wipes, hand sanitizer, etc., it’s nice to have the space. And I find the Empreinte to be much more subtle and color to be easier to match.

I love the OTG on you! I am kind of over the Neverfull tbh and only because the canvas one literally everywhere! Love the empreinte though.
