It's that time of the year again when one treats herself! Around the holiday season this year, I'll be getting some stock money that will permit me to buy a handbag for under 3k euros. I am now trying to pick one from:
Givenchy antigona small/medium
Saint Laurent Sac de Jour small
Louis Vuitton Montaigne MM in empreinte leather
Fendi peekaboo regular
Celine trapeze
Prada saffiano double zip tote bag (this is old but I can't fall in love with the double cuir)
Or a smaller bag for occasions such as dining out or going to evening parties or simply going out:
Gucci Dionysus
Louis Vuitton clunny bb
My lifestyle is pretty simple, going to school usually, but I'll start working next year so I also consider that for my next bag purchase.
On a daily basis, I usually take my laptop (the new 12 inch MacBook, it is pretty small and can fit basically in most of my picks). But I can also take my iPad Air + keyboard instead, on the days I feel like bringing a smaller bag. Everything I've mentioned definitely fits in an iPad, I think. So sizes shouldn't be a problem.
Currently I own some Louis Vuitton classics (Speedy, Neverfull, Alma, Noé), and a Chanel GST. I have a bunch of commercial designer bags too, such as Michael Kors, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Rebecca Minkoff. I use those quite a lot too for school.
I am quite new in designer handbags, and I try to avoid too trendy pieces that I feel could go out of style in less than 3 years. My budget permits that every handbag I buy should at least last me a good few years (I'm in Europe and reselling isn't easy or keeps value well for me).
I get attracted to bags mostly because of their silhouettes, as you can probably see from my top picks. And this time I also would like to spend my budget on a really great leather quality bag, that is suitable for most of the occasions be it school or work or play.
If you guys have any opinions to inspire my choosing, please feel free to speak
thanks!!
