Help me pick my next Gucci!

My birthday is at the end of July, and I'd like to treat myself to another Gucci! (I have a mini Dionysus in the canvas with black suede).

I'm looking for either a black or pink bag, and am a bit torn on what to choose. I'd love your opinion to help me decide!

For the black:
This would be more of an everyday bag that I can use in practically any weather to run errands/date night/travel. I want something that looks good in any setting and that I wouldn't have to baby. I like both the Soho Disco bag (which I've previously had for three years and sold to fund another purchase) and the GG Marmont mini flap bag.

For the pink:
This would be a bag I can wear casually during the day or night. I'd like something that I can easily wear with my mostly dark/neutral/floral wardrobe in any season for a long time. I'm looking at the GG Marmont mini flap bag in either the light pink leather or the dark fuchsia velvet.

If you own any of these bags and can comment on your choice, wear 'n' tear, versatility, color transfer and anything else you think is relevant, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank you :smile:

Personally I like the dark pink velvet Marmont but the black leather maybe practical

I don't think you should buy the black SD, only because you sold it last time so maybe that proves you didn't love it enough the last time you had it.

I think I've ruled out the light pink flap bag because I think that specific color looks better in the Marmont mini camera bag -- which I'm now thinking about.

I love the dark fuchsia velvet Marmont, but after looking at dozens of photos online, I wonder how much I'd really use it. If I were to get a velvet Marmont bag, I think I would invest in the black one because it would be more understated, versatile and "classic."

As for the black SD, I loved that bag to death -- and wore it to death too! After I sold it, I definitely had seller's remorse, which is why I'm revisiting getting it again.

So many beautiful -- and usable -- Gucci bags on my lust list! :p
